CONDITIONS OF LETTING             MARICHEL 4

  1. Charges applicable to accommodation are as follows:
    1. Rental – tariff as quoted which includes servicing, except on Sundays and Public Holidays.
    2. Key Collection – R200.00 (once off fee).
    3. Refundable Breakage Deposit – R2000.00
    4. Refunds to a swift account – R450.00
  1. Bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit of the rental plus all other charges.
  2. Balance of rental is due 7 days before arrival. Should payment not be honoured for any reason whatsoever, keys shall not be issued. You will also be liable for such legal costs by an attorney and own client scale, including any tracing agent fees and these shall bear interest at the rate of 25% (twenty-five percent) per annum from the date of such dishonourment.
  3. Deposits are fully refundable should proof of Covid be submitted. A doctor’s note stating that you or anyone in your group have been in direct contact with Covid, 2 weeks or less, prior to your arrival. You can also have the choice of Marichel 4 holding your deposit in order to book for a later date.
  4. Marichel 4 reserves the right to substitute similar accommodation should the apartment not be available for any reason whatsoever i.e. unnatural or unforeseen disasters such as flooding, fire etc…..
  5. The maximum number of persons occupying the apartment must not exceed the number of beds. Should we find that more people are being accommodated than allowed, please be advised that we have the right to ask you to leave, thereby, forfeiting your rental.
  6. Should TV sets or electrical appliances go faulty during your stay, we will endeavour to have them repaired or replaced as soon as possible. No reduction in rent will be allowed for delays beyond our control.
  7. Pets are not allowed under any circumstances.
  8. A breakage deposit is taken prior to booking, however, should the damage exceed the breakage deposit amount, you will be liable for the additional costs.
  9. Tenants may take occupation from 14h00 onwards and the apartment is to be vacated by 10h00 on the date of departure. These times are stipulated in order to facilitate the necessary cleaning services. Please note, that during Peak Season, due to it being extremely busy, we ask our tenants to please be patient with regards to any delays.
  10. Guests attend this apartment at their own risk. The Proprietor shall not be liable for, and the guest/s hereby waive/s and abandon/s any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise. The guest/s, in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the Proprietor against any claims whatsoever.
  11. On departure, please close all windows and lock up patio cushions inside the apartment. Alarm systems must be activated on departure. The TV needs to be kept on due to humidity.
  12. A cleaning service is available on a daily basis, with the exception of Sundays and Public Holidays. The service includes cleaning of floors, dishes, bathrooms, dusting, emptying of rubbish bins, and making of beds. We kindly request that you do not approach the staff to do anything else unless otherwise organized by The Proprietor.
  13. No sub-letting is allowed.
  14. Key collection information will be given once the final payment is received.
  15. Moving of furniture is prohibited.
  16. Marichel 4 is not to be used as a venue for any functions unless accepted by the Proprietor.
  17. Kindly note that we do not accommodate students. Should parents book on their behalf, they will be evicted upon arrival without a refund.
  18. Please adhere to covid regulations when in contact with other residents in the complex.
  19. That all guests entering Marichel 4 are Covid Free and that they have not come into contact with anyone who is Covid positive during the last 2 weeks of your arrival date.
  20. To avoid any further costs, please ensure that keys are left in the same envelope that you received them in at the drop-off point. Once again, you will receive this information once the final payment has been made.
